I didn't know who I was any longer, so I just was.

John Duover
About This Quote

We all have those times when we feel lost and confused. We feel as if we don’t know who we are anymore. It’s as if we can no longer just be who we already are. This happens at the beginning of every new stage of our lives.

We go through a process called "determining our self." It's an important part of life, and it's normal for us to feel lost at the beginning. However, we must not give up on ourselves and give in to feelings of confusion and despair. Instead, we must continue to do who we already are and refocus on living our lives from that place.

We're all complex beings, and it takes time for us to learn where exactly our true selves lie.
